Animals & Humans

Many times I feel like saying something about animals to this world or at least to those who ignore animals in everyway they can! Every now and then, animal's activity catches my eyes somehow... I see innocence at its best in them. Not to mention other trait at their purest form such as emotions, care, selflessness and unconditional love. I guess those who dont think about them or love them miss exploring part of their own soul. I know by saying save tigers or save endangered animals, it would be borrowing the words from the world but seriously, I dont want to tell my kids that there used to be Tigers. An honest suggestion to the authorities - release the speices who are on the verge of extinction, let them breed and bring them back to zoo when they are in enough amount!

I was amazed to find that in thailand they train elephants to paint! I guess its extraordinory on the elephant part, their memory to remember colors and put them at right place. The painting goes for thousands of dollar and the money is used for Asian Elephant Art and Conservation project which runs since years! Cheers to this!

The Siberian Tiger - Critically Endangered

If we cant love them We can at least not do the following-

------

A farmer paid a fortune to buy a stallion. A month later, the horse got sick & the farmer called the vet.

"Your horse has a virus. Give it this medicine for 3 days. If it hasn't recovered by the 3rd day, we'll have to put it to sleep"

The Pig who was nearby overheard the conversation.

The farmer gave the horse the medicine on the 1st day, but it didn't get any better. The Pig approached the horse and said, "Courage, my friend. Get up"

On the 2nd day, the horse didn't get any better.

"Come on friend, get up or else you will die!!!!" warned the Pig

On the 3rd day, the armer gave the horse the medicine but to no avail. The vet arrived and said,

"I'm afraid we have to put him away, otherwise the virus might spread to the other horses."

The Pig heard this & quickly ran to the horse.

"Come on!!!!! The vet's arrived. It's now or never !!!!! Get up quickly. You can do it!!!!"

Suddenly, the horse jumped up and ran away

"It's a miracle!!!! We must celebrate," yelled the farmer.

"Let's have a feast. KILL THE PIG!!!!!!"

  2. Its really a very sad fact that we social animals forget our basic responsibility towards these creatures, we forget that we need them for a healthy balanced environment. And bet, the government wont do much here, its we who ll have to chip in some efforts ( not having a fest is one of em) in our daily lives and contribute and help prevent animal endangerment.

Thank you for bringing out this point. Btw,I din know about these animal artists... nice nice.!
