Alcohol - The ultimate tag

Rakesh Patel

To preserve gifts so dearly for years and years is totally a sign of the love to the person who has given you that gift. I am fortunate enough to have such people who thought I was worth giving gifts and I cherish this lovely feeling to keep those gifts safely with me and cherish the dizziness of falling into old memories of those moments. I have realized that there is this one gazillion dollar gift that we all have and somehow we are tend to forget to look after it. We ignore it and act stupid enough not to give importance to that precious gift. Our body is that gift. And the one who has given it is not unknown to anyone. Do you not love him? Do you think it is fair enough not to look after it and let it have a touch of filthy substance?

I don't want to get started on what alcohol does to people. Its a complete sign of weakness to conceived an idea of having fun by drinking an alcohol. To live in a misconception that alcohol will take the sadness away and bring ultimate happiness is so foolish. For a moment it might push your worry away but when it returns, I am jolly sure that the worry will not be lessen in amount or size. If the after effects of alcohol give you ultimate happiness please let me know where to buy such bottles. To ignore the importance of that gazillion dollar gift giver is the start of the idea of having alcohol. I hate those who drink it and for god sake don't come to me to convince that it is worth.

(Painting by Dr Hansa Parmar)

chintan, darshan, jivan, sarjan, ruh nazar par chayee ammaa
sare ghar ka sor saraba, sunapan... tanhayee... ammaa!

ghar main jine rishte mene lakho bar udhdte dekhe,
chupke chupke kar deti hai jaane kab durpayee ammaa!

sare rishte jeth dupehree, garam hawa atis angaare,

Animals & Humans

Many times I feel like saying something about animals to this world or at least to those who ignore animals in everyway they can! Every now and then, animal's activity catches my eyes somehow... I see innocence at its best in them. Not to mention other trait at their purest form such as emotions, care, selflessness and unconditional love. I guess those who dont think about them or love them miss exploring part of their own soul. I know by saying save tigers or save endangered animals, it would be borrowing the words from the world but seriously, I dont want to tell my kids that there used to be Tigers. An honest suggestion to the authorities - release the speices who are on the verge of extinction, let them breed and bring them back to zoo when they are in enough amount!

I was amazed to find that in thailand they train elephants to paint! I guess its extraordinory on the elephant part, their memory to remember colors and put them at right place. The painting goes for thousands of dollar and the money is used for Asian Elephant Art and Conservation project which runs since years! Cheers to this!

The Siberian Tiger - Critically Endangered

If we cant love them We can at least not do the following-

------

A farmer paid a fortune to buy a stallion. A month later, the horse got sick & the farmer called the vet.

"Your horse has a virus. Give it this medicine for 3 days. If it hasn't recovered by the 3rd day, we'll have to put it to sleep"

The Pig who was nearby overheard the conversation.

The farmer gave the horse the medicine on the 1st day, but it didn't get any better. The Pig approached the horse and said, "Courage, my friend. Get up"

On the 2nd day, the horse didn't get any better.

"Come on friend, get up or else you will die!!!!" warned the Pig

On the 3rd day, the armer gave the horse the medicine but to no avail. The vet arrived and said,

"I'm afraid we have to put him away, otherwise the virus might spread to the other horses."

The Pig heard this & quickly ran to the horse.

"Come on!!!!! The vet's arrived. It's now or never !!!!! Get up quickly. You can do it!!!!"

Suddenly, the horse jumped up and ran away

"It's a miracle!!!! We must celebrate," yelled the farmer.

"Let's have a feast. KILL THE PIG!!!!!!"

Sorry is not enough!

SORRY!

Sometime this word becomes less significance and less audible when the mistake is huge and you are guilty of it. In such occasions, I don't prefer to say sorry. I feel its not sufficient. Start the action opposite to the one which made you feel sorry. Yes, I am going to return to my blog after long pause - long enough to hear it loud!

Too many things were running up and down in my life. mostly down. I guess I still am not that good writer who can write about his low phase during the phase. I guess its hard. Once the low phase is over you can. So am I.

Missed to write on mother's day. I am one day late. But its ok, mom will forgive me.
Yes, Forgive. Forgiveness.

Did you ever think who is the one who forgives you the most?

Everytime I make a mistake and do the realization I ask forgiveness from god. And he smiles at me and says ok don't do it again! And I repeat the mistake. I again say sorry. He again forgives me. Everytime I make a mistake he forgives me. Until the realization becomes so strong that I stop repeating the mistake. And I go to him and thank him. Mother is the same. No matter how many time her special child makes a mistake, she forgives him. Teaches him not to repeat the mistake but forgives him.

Forgiveness is directly proportional to patience! ( the last sentence is sort of a sign of an engineer turning into blogger! ). To have these two in a good amount is hard. To have them 100% brings you close to god! and every mother has them for her child. This now proves that, god is really good at delegation power. He delegated his work to all the mothers of the world and that is how the phrase came "God made mothers because he could not be everywhere".

Yes, our mom is one creature who will always be there with her arms open weather you win or loose. With warm hug and moist of love in her eyes if you loose. But will be there!

So, those who are mom, Happy belated mothers day and those who are going to get this opportunity in future, happy mothers day in advance. You are very lucky being just next to god.

(Missed you so much mummy! )
